This 2024 has not been the exception where the emblematic Adolfo Mejía Theater was the setting for the closing of three days of business, experiences, knowledge and relationships in romance tourism, with a gala dinner for the second version of Cartagena Wedding Dreams + Wedding Forum, where more than 600 people participated, including 200 Colombian and foreign wedding planners.

According to Carmen Otero, marketing and sales director of the Sofitel Legend Santa Clara hotel and who has been in charge of the organization of the event since its inception, says: “we are very proud to successfully complete the second version of this event designed to strengthen the industry. of weddings and events and project Cartagena de Indias as a luxury romance destination in the most important markets internationally. “We will continue to focus on positioning in this segment that is so important for the economic and tourist growth of the city and the country.”

A magical night was experienced on the second day of Cartagena Wedding Dreams + Wedding Forum at the Sofitel Legend Santa Clara pool with the Colonial British Elegance event. A fantasy world with characters that transported guests to the golden age of the British Empire. An evening where we enjoyed a gospel choir, DJs Cardona and Fabi and acrobatics and pyrotechnics shows with the best of gastronomy with fusion appetizers of British cuisine and tropical flavors.
